![]() ![]() Unfortunately we were stuffed and couldn't manage desert, so he said wait one moment. Then to top it off the food was gorgeous and he was right it was wise to try it. As I said this was all the while being friendly, as he was being very chatty and very hospitable overall a lovely atmosphere. I was then passionately, but always friendly, told that I should try the first option as it was far nicer than the other and he said the cheese was a milder one and I should try an authentic Italian version before judging it. When we had narrowed it down he came back I explained that I wasn't sure of an item as not a big fan of cheese, so he asked me what my alternative was. Luckily they have a back room with a few more tables and we were shown there by the owner who then gave us a glass of complimentary prosecco along with our menus. Well we certainly got lucky and it makes you question what algorithms TA uses to rank restaurants as we had a far superior meal here than at #6! Firstly we had no reservation, plus we had arrived around half 8 to a full looking restaurant, so we thought darn it find somewhere else. We weren't expecting to be amazing as a few hundred down on TA (albeit out of a very large number) but were expecting it to be decent. We were staying at the Ramada, neither of us had the effort left in us go anywhere too far for dinner, so we did a local area search and this one popped out at us. ![]()
